Nursery and Reception (EYFS)
Nursery
To join our Nursery, children must have reached the age of three by 31st August prior to the start of the academic year in which they will become four.
If you are interested in joining our Nursery, please do get in touch and we can arrange stay and play sessions where you can meeting with Sukey Symes, Head of Early Years ahead of formally applying.
Reception Class
Children interested in a Reception place for the September after they turn four can will be invited to attend stay and play sessions ahead of applying. Please contact us if you are interested in learning more about Reception at Sibford.
Application to Sibford is through the completion of the online application form here and payment of a non-refundable registration fee of £120 inclusive of VAT.
Once you have applied, your child will be invited for two taster days, taking part in lessons, activities and assessments that focus on core skills in reading, spelling and mathematics.
Following the taster days, our Admissions Registrar will be in contact to let you know if a place has been offered.
As part of this process, we will contact your child’s nursery/school to request a confidential reference. New students are not able to start at Sibford until a reference has been received and reviewed.
Should you wish to accept an offer to join Sibford, this is secured by signing the acceptance form and the payment of a £500 deposit.
Junior School (Years 1 – 6)
If you are interested in Sibford Junior School, please contact us and we can arrange a meeting and tour with Edward Rossiter, Head of Junior School.

Applicants will be invited to join our Year 7 entry days on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November 2026. These days are designed to offer prospective pupils a warm welcome to Sibford whilst assessing their ability to thrive in an academic environment.

International Students
International students interested in joining Sibford will be asked to complete our English language test and invited to meet online with Rebecca Evans, Head and a member of our Boarding staff to learn more about life at Sibford.
