Our boarding houses are separate from the school buildings, creating a genuine home where life beyond academics unfolds. This intentional design helps everyone feel secure and comfortable.

Taking Care
Our boarding environment responds sensitively to individual needs, with considered pastoral support rooted in our Quaker ethos. Our House Parents and staff are always available, keeping a watchful eye to ensure students feels comfortable and part of our family.
We understand that living away from home is a major transition, so like parents, we stay informed about academic progress while providing a secure space away from school pressures.
Growing through boarding
Boarding here goes beyond accommodation – it helps young people develop essential life skills. Students learn to manage time effectively, take responsibility for daily tasks such as laundry and budgeting, and build independence in a supportive environment.
With dedicated quiet study time and easy access to teachers, academic growth flourishes. The boarding routine supports exam preparation and means no daily commuting, making life easier for busy families. Most importantly, boarding creates lasting friendships across year groups.
Flexible options
We offer boarding arrangements designed to fit around family and work life:
Full Boarding:
Students live on site seven nights a week during term, with comprehensive care including accommodation, laundry, travel arrangements, healthcare, and all meals.
Weekly Boarding:
Perfect for students with lengthy commutes who enjoy weekends at home. Stay from Sunday/Monday to Friday/Saturday, with flexibility for one to five nights weekly.
Mid-Week Boarding:
A boarding option that provides regular 2 or 3 nights boarding per week. Ideal for families looking for structured routine and a good balance between home life and school life.
Flexi-boarding:
Occasional overnight stays that support busy family schedules or provide a gentle introduction to boarding. Includes 24-hour care, comfortable rooms, fresh meals, and all bedding.
