Love, loyalty and rivalry collide in this thrilling school production of West Side Story, one of the most iconic musicals ever written. Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, it tells the story of two young lovers caught between warring gangs in 1950s New York.
Set in the world of the Jets and the Sharks, Tony and Maria’s forbidden romance is tested by prejudice, fear and misunderstanding. Featuring unforgettable music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and inspired choreography, this production brings the timeless story to life through the energy, talent and commitment of Sibford’s students.
